Опубликованы подробности юбилейного, расширенного переиздания альбома The Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, приуроченного к 50-летию со дня выхода знаменитой пластинки.
В продажу поступят издания на одном CD, на двух CD, на двух виниловых пластинках, но наибольшее внимание коллекционеров должно привлечь 6-дисковое супер-делюкс-издание, содержащее, как указывает пресс-релиз, «не издававшиеся ранее студийные дубли», которые «запечатлели группу в студии в процессе создания альбома».

Треки 1-13 представлен новый микс 2017 года, сделанных Джайлза Мартина!
Треки 14-31 представлен песни записанных дублями во время сессии альбома, а также включен песни Strawberry Fields Forever и Penny Lane (раньше, не вошли в альбом) с новым миксом 2015 и 2017 года и с дублями!

Сообщается, что супер-делюкс-издание будет включать в себя «100 минут отбракованных дублей, многие из которых не издавались ранее». Также в комплекте – специальный моно-микс альбома, включающий 6 бонусов, среди которых есть «потерянная» версия песни “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”.

Объемное издание включает также DVD- и Blu-ray диски, на которых можно найти документальный фильм о создании альбома, а также дополнительные миксы – в 5-канальном формате и формате “hi-res”. В коробке издания можно будет также обнаружить 114-страничный буклет и копию оригинальной вкладки винилового издания.

Новая информация о бокс-сете подтверждает уже объявленную ранее новость о том, что в составе издания будут присутствовать песни “Strawberry Fields Forever” и “Penny Lane”, ранее выходившие только на сингле. Продюсер The Beatles Джордж Мартин однажды сказал, что выпуск этих двух композиций на сингле и их последующее исключение из альбома было «по-настоящему ужасной ошибкой». В работе над переизданием принимает активное участие сын знаменитого продюсера, Джайлс Мартин, ранее работавший над другими битловскими проектами.
